In the run up to Christmas, The Sanctuary Studio & Gallery brings you a curated collection of painting, textiles, jewellery, hand poured candles and studio ceramics to inspire you in the season of giving. Rich colours, luxurious textures and nature inspired patterns are the hallmark of this festive exhibition, on show at The Sanctuary’s elegant gallery space in the village of Newnham on Severn.
Artists from the Gloucestershire Guild, as well as national and international artists, are on show in this jewel box of an exhibition. Works include handstitched collage and vintage postcard art by ‘nostalgic sewing’ artist Olivia Racionzer; pretty lino cut prints by Rosanna Morris; embroidered textile art by Sara Joy Rickard; contemporary felt and fibre art by Valerie Wartelle; handwoven textiles by Angie Parker and Forest of Dean based artist Rhian Wyman; silver jewellery by artist Uschi Arens Price; ceramics by Sussex based maker Yvette Glaze, and paintings by Jessica Dunn, Karen Fitzpatrick, Mary Burtenshaw, Kate Flood, Kirsten Elswood and Sharon Harvey.
